Design Museum

 

Housed in a 1950's Thameside warehouse near Tower Bridge the Design Museum is one of the worlds leading museums dedicated to contemporary design in all its forms. The museum's exhibition programme focuses on design disciplines ranging from architecture and graphics to automotive design, furniture, household objects and fashion.

The Collection gallery includes over 1000 pieces of contemporary and 20th century design focusing on items from the past, present as well as innovative prototypes and ideas for the future. It has developed as an institution of international status and significance, playing an important role in making design and architecture an integrated part of our culture.

The Design Museum's mission is to celebrate, entertain and inform.
